The Ukestra jam this Saturday, May 23, 10:30 am-12:30 pm, Spokane Valley Library, 22 N. Herald. The theme, should you choose to accept it, is The Sun, Moon and Stars. We’ll be using The Purple Book and the HUG Book. Hand-outs are also welcome.
Intermediate workshop, 9:30-10:15—Learn Pachelbel Canon on the ukulele: chords, picking, double and triple stops with Patty S. Low G string ukulele encouraged (not required), and ability to read music notation a plus! She says, “I will break down parts of Pachelbel’s Canon so all will be able to play it. I also will challenge those who are open to what I have prepared.”
We can get into the room at 9 am for set up
You’ll need your ukulele, tuner, Purple Book, HUG Book, music stand and snacks to share (optional).
