The Ukestra jam this Saturday, September 12, 11:30 am-1:30 pm, Argonne Library, 4322 N. Argonne Rd. Argonne Library’s meeting room is smaller than our usual haunts. A larger room wasn’t available this time.
Please bring your Yellow Book and H.U.G. book for this jam. Hand-outs are welcome, but we’ll stick to the Yellow Book and H.U.G. book otherwise this time.
This is the beginner friendly jam for the first hour. Please pick songs with up to 3 chords as we go around the circle. After that, anything goes!
Beginner’s workshop #2, 10:30-11:15—Introduction of the staff, time signatures, key signatures, keeping time. 2-4 chord songs in the key of D.
We can get into the room at 10 am for set up.
You’ll need your ukulele, music, music stand and snacks to share (optional).
